Advocacy and Service

Zonta District 3 works to build a better world for women and girls through advocacy, service, education, and collaboration. Our clubs identify the needs of their communities, provide direct support, raise awareness, and advocate for lasting change.

Together, our members turn Zonta’s global mission into meaningful local action throughout District 3.

Advocacy: Creating Lasting Change

Advocacy addresses the laws, policies, systems, and attitudes that affect women and girls. District 3 clubs educate their communities, engage decision-makers, build partnerships, and raise their voices on issues related to gender equality.

Our advocacy priorities include:

  • Ending gender-based violence

  • Ending child marriage

  • Supporting equal access to education and leadership

  • Advancing economic opportunity

  • Promoting climate justice and gender-equal climate action

  • Supporting laws and policies that protect the rights of women and girls
